Playing experience (level, team, years):

Grew up playing in the North Shore minor hockey system in the west island of Montreal.
Spent 2 years in the SJHL (Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League) where won a provinical championship with the Weyburn Red Wings and went on to the National Championship Centennial Cup, now known as RBC Cup).
Played 4 years at Union College, NCAA, Div I (96-99).Was named to the ECAC All Rookie Team, received ECAC Rookie of the Week Honors. Was named Unsung Hero as a Junior by the coaching staff.
Played 2 years in the ECHL, and attended training camp with the Milwaukee Admirals the farm team of the Nashville Predators of the NHL.
After a career ending groin and hip injury, I returned to Quebec and played in the Quebec Semi Pro League, was on championship winning team in Cornwall.

Coaching Experience and Philosiphy:

I have been coaching in hockey schools and clinics since the age of 16. In the past 10 years I have been involved with coaching behind the bench either as a head coach or assistant, player clinincs, goalie clinics at different levels from MAGH (ADM Hockey USA), all the way up to the U-16 level and above. I have been fortunate to have worked with some of the best up and coming players. Some who have been drafted to the NHL, Major Junior, Junior A, NCAA, Prep Schools and many other. I have worked and played with many NHL'ers and have watched and learned what makes them succesful. I have also been fortunate enought to work with and be coached by some of the best coaches in the game. This has allowed me to broaden my views and see what is effective and what is ineffective in working with young players. Being able to adjust levels of drills, techniques, and breaking down explainations for kids as well as adult hockey players is important. Not every player or goalie is good at the same things. Each individual moves in different way, so it's important to identify these aspects and make each player as good as they can be.
